Exciting NWSF Walking Football Program in Winter 2022
NWSF is delighted to announce an exciting Winter Program of Walking Football, starting Friday 1st April 2022.
We now have a new dedicated Walking Football venue, the Futsal Courts at the North Epping Bowling Club, enabling us to make Walking Football an even more social event than ever before with the club bar open until 10.30pm on Friday nights.
As with the recent Summer season, we are encouraging fun and sportsmanship, dialling down the competitiveness to ensure everyone enjoys playing whatever their skill level.
The season kicks off on Friday 1st April with a welcome BBQ for all players, and a general introduction to the new facility. Here’s the full details:
Venue: The Futsal Courts
North Epping Bowling Club
132 Boundary Road
North Epping NSW 2121
Parking: Available on the street. We ask everyone to please respect the neighbours, especially when leaving later in the night.
Dates: Start: Friday 1 April, Kick Off: 6.30pm (please arrive at least 15 mins before) End: Friday 29 July
The Pitch: This is a short length synthetic surfaced pitch.
Best style of footwear would be low profile ‘pimple’ soled football boots (for example the Adidas Team Mundial made for synthetic surfaces) or trainers. (NB: You can’t wear normal football boots with blades or full studs)
The Club: The bar at North Epping Bowling Club is open on Friday nights until 10.30pm. You can sign in as temporary members, you don't need to join. The club facilities offer us a great opportunity to meet up before and after the game over a drink.
Trying Walking Football for the first time?
If you or someone you know wants to try Walking Football before registering for the whole season, they are welcome to come on Friday 1st April to play in a trial game. This is only available to people who haven’t played in a previous Walking Football game with NWSF. Please email David Cooper, the NSWF competitions manager to let us know you are coming: david.cooper@nwsf.com.au

Why Play Walking Football?
Win Free Tickets to Socceroos v Japan!
Register with NWSF in our Winter Walking Football Program before 12 noon on the 23rd of March 2022, to be in the running for one of 5 sets of 2 FREE tickets to the Socceroos v Japan on Thursday night the 24 March 2022 @ Stadium Australia!
The winners will be drawn from a boot bag and the winners advised on the afternoon of the 23rd of March 2022.
All players previously registered, will be in the running.

How to Register for the Season:

- The Welcome screen should say “Christie Park Football (NWSF)” – select Get Started (as above, please note games will be played at North Epping Bowling Club and not Christie Park)
- Select the appropriate option if you have registered in PF previously if you haven’t registered previously
- Select I am registering for Myself and Continue
- Check your details and then Search
- If you have a playing record in the system it will show here – Select and Continue
- Select Winter Walking Football Rego 2022 in Product Select
- The Product Details will show the fees of $100
- Please make sure your personal details are correct
- Review and confirm all details are correct and agree to FNSW T&C’s
- Complete your payment using a credit card
- Click Submit and you are all done. If you have not received a confirmation email within 3 business days please contact nwsf@nwsf.com.au
