The football community of North West Sydney have onboarded with the City of Ryde to make a stand against domestic violence and abuse.

The City of Ryde and its partners, have provided information on where you can get help or assistance for family and friends experiencing abuse.

Resources including podcasts (in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Arabic and Farsi ) are available to learn about domestic violence and abuse, the experiences of survivors and domestic family abuse support services.

“You’ll find the resources for you, your club or team to be part of the Make A Stand social media campaign and share the Make A Stand Against Abuse message with your team, friends and family and team mates.”  stated Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Toivonen.

“You can also Make A Stand Against Abuse by being part of the Purple Nail Tribe by painting your fingernail purple to show you’ve taken their pledge to help end domestic abuse and the silence surrounding it.”

“Join me and be part of the Purple Nail Tribe. You can take a photo of your Purple Nail and share it on your social media.”
