![]() WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! North West Sydney Football is conducting a Female Football Participation Survey to support the needs and wants of women and girls within our community. Completing this survey will provide valuable data to the association in attracting new players, referees, coaches and administrators - as well as improving the experience of those already within our community. Currently, the 2023 Women's World Cup Working Party within NWSF have been busy planning initiatives to encourage females to participate in football locally. Stay tuned for exciting programs to be announced in the lead up to the 2022 season. North West Sydney Football excited to launch its new Women’s Premier League for 2022 season13/12/2021 ![]() The member clubs of North West Sydney Football (NWSF) voted unanimously, at a recent special general meeting, to embrace a new Women’s Premier League for its top flight competition for the winter 2022 season. “This announcement reaffirms NWSF Club’s commitment to developing and encouraging the promotion of the female game within our region,” stated NWSF Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Toivonen. “The structure of the competition will be flexible in its first year and will comprise of single teams. The Football Management Committee’s vision will be to build a competition that, over time, will embrace an aligned reserve grade competition to underpin the first grade and promote the regions youth.” “The Football Management Committee will progressively work with all Clubs to establish a product that will showcase female football within the region and a beacon of light for football within NSW.” North West Sydney Football and NWS Spirit Football Club join the City of Ryde and “Make a Stand”10/12/2021 ![]() The football community of North West Sydney have onboarded with the City of Ryde to make a stand against domestic violence and abuse. The City of Ryde and its partners, have provided information on where you can get help or assistance for family and friends experiencing abuse. Resources including podcasts (in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Arabic and Farsi ) are available to learn about domestic violence and abuse, the experiences of survivors and domestic family abuse support services. “You’ll find the resources for you, your club or team to be part of the Make A Stand social media campaign and share the Make A Stand Against Abuse message with your team, friends and family and team mates.” stated Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Toivonen. “You can also Make A Stand Against Abuse by being part of the Purple Nail Tribe by painting your fingernail purple to show you’ve taken their pledge to help end domestic abuse and the silence surrounding it.” “Join me and be part of the Purple Nail Tribe.
